Story：Mint was made into perfume in Ancient Greece. It was viewed as an aroma demonstrating charms of masculinity. In Greek mythology, Hades, god of the underworld, fell in love with Minthe, the nymph. Hades’ wife, Queen Persephone, was jealous and turned Minthe into an ordinary plant. Nonetheless Minthe’s determined soul turned herself into an aromatic plant, that we call ‘mint’ today.
